With humble beginnings of the 7-Eleven Franchisee community, this association grew out of 7-Eleven Franchisees working together. The franchisee community has grown to be a massive, diverse group of people. Almost all of them are small mom-and-pop type businesses. Many of them expanded into other franchises and small businesses.

With the changing landscape after 2020 and new technology and challenges on the horizon, they began to ask, who is speaking on their behalf? This led to the expansion and creation of the Association of Smallbusiness & Retail Owners. Many of our members run multiple types of retail businesses, including many branded businesses and small quick serve restaurants, liquor stores, convenience stores, gas stations, and private non-branded locations. So, we have expanded and are opening sub-chapters throughout California. We expect our association to grow in California to a minimum of 10,000+ retail, hospitality, service, and small restaurant locations represented by many common issues we face in this changing business landscape.
